So — been on this thing for something like six months now and I keep coming back, so figured I’d write something up since a mate asked me the other day. I’m UK based, mainly do football and horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.
What got me on it was genuinely pretty stupid — I couldn’t ever figure out what an ew return actually came to once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d eyeball it and get a shock. Now punch the numbers in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.
Their single bet calculator is the one I’m on daily — you drop in your stake, the odds and you get the return with no faffing, either odds format. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — acca and treble returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, which is where most people I know got it wrong. The thing that really made a difference were the nerdier tools. The implied probability calculator that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly staking tool — I use half kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one is handy too if I’m spreading across selections.
Not all sunshine though. Its layout feels pretty plain — zero polish, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it works though the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. There’s no app, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me just flagging it.
So yeah. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, does the job. If you still does the maths on paper, try it — saves me plenty of arguments with the bookie.
