So — have been messing about with this thing for maybe a few months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d say something since someone asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.
How I found it was actually a bit daft — I never could figure out what an e/w payout actually came to when the place terms changed. I’d just guess and get a shock. These days I punch the numbers in before I place anything, even the boring singles.
Their single bet calculator tool is the one I open most — you put in your stake, the odds and it spits out returns instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the multiples — acca and treble returns, lucky 15s, a yankee, honestly that’s where I’d always got it wrong. If you want a look, it’s here each way single bet calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.
What actually made a difference were the nerdier bits. The implied probability converter which shows you what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly criterion tool — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutching one is handy too when I’m splitting a race.
Not all sunshine though. The layout is a bit basic — no flash, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it works but the acca grid are a squeeze. There’s no app, just the site — fine by me just flagging it.
Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does the job. Anyone who honestly does the maths on paper, try it — saved me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
