OK — been on this thing for about four months now and it’s stuck on my phone, reckon I’d write something up since someone asked me last week. I’m based in the UK, mainly stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, for context.
The reason I started using it was genuinely pretty stupid — I never could figure out what an e/w return would be once you get five places instead of three. I’d just guess and then be surprised. These days I stick my stake in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.
Their single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — you drop in the price and your stake and you get profit and total return with no faffing, either odds format. Same tool covers the multiples — trebles returns, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, and that’s where most people I know lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at each way calculator — free, no signup.
One thing that actually changed how I bet is the more serious tools. There’s an odds-to-probability thing and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and a kelly staking tool — I use half kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutch tool is decent if I’m splitting a race.
Not all sunshine though. Its layout feels pretty plain — no frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it’s fine but the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. And nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but worth saying.
Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, does what it says. If you honestly adds it up in their head, try it — it’s saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
