So — have been messing about with this thing for something like six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I’m based in the UK, generally bet football and racing, nothing mad, so take it how you like.
How I found it was genuinely pretty stupid — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an ew payout actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just wing it and then be surprised. Now stick my stake in before I place anything, even the boring singles.
The single bet calculator tool is the bit I use most — you put in your stake, the odds and it shows the return with no faffing, fractions or decimals. There’s also the multiples — doubles and trebles returns, a lucky 15, a yankee, and that’s where I always lose track. The thing that actually made a difference was the more serious extras. The implied probability converter and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and a kelly criterion calculator — I run quarter kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one is handy too when I’m splitting a race.
Couple of gripes. Its interface feels very functional, let’s say — no polish, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it works although the acca grid are a squeeze. There’s nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me but you asked.
Anyway. Costs nowt, barely any ads, works. If you honestly adds it up in their head, have a look — saves me plenty of arguments with the bookie.
