So — have been messing about with this thing for something like a few months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d say something since someone asked me the other day. Am in the UK, generally bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.
How I found it was honestly a bit daft — I couldn’t ever work out what an ew payout would be once you get five places instead of three. I’d just guess and moan when the payout landed. Now type the odds in first, every time, even the boring singles.
The single bet calculator tool is the one I use most — you put in stake and odds and it spits out returns straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. It also handles the fiddly ones — acca and treble maths, a lucky 15, a yankee, which is where I always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at dutch calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.
The thing that genuinely changed how I bet was the geekier tools. There’s an implied probability calculator which shows you what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly criterion calculator — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool is decent when I’m spreading across selections.
Couple of gripes. The design looks pretty plain — no frills, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s fine although the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. There’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me just flagging it.
Anyway. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, does the job. If anyone honestly adds it up in their head, give it a go — saves me a fair few “wait, that’s it?” moments.
