So — been on this thing for something like six months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d chuck my thoughts in since someone asked me the other day. Am UK based, generally bet football and racing, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.

The reason I started using it was honestly a bit daft — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an ew return actually came to when the place terms changed. I’d just guess and moan when the payout landed. These days I stick my stake in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator is the one I’m on daily — type in the price and your stake and you get profit and total return instantly, fractions or decimals. It also handles the multiples — trebles maths, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, which is where I’d always got it wrong. If you want a look, it’s here bet calculator lucky 63 and it’s free with no account nonsense.

The thing that really shifted things for me was the nerdier bits. They’ve got an probability thing that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly calculator — I run quarter kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutching one gets used a fair bit if I’m covering two or three runners.

Not all sunshine though. The design is very functional, let’s say — not much flash, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s fine though the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, just the site — doesn’t bother me but you asked.

Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, works. Anyone who still adds it up in their head, try it — it’s saved me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
