So — have been messing about with this thing for maybe six months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d write something up since someone asked me last week. I’m based in the UK, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.
The reason I started using it was honestly embarrassing — I couldn’t ever figure out what an ew payout actually came to once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now I stick my stake in first, every time, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator is the one I’m on daily — type in your stake, the odds and it shows returns with no faffing, fractions or decimals. It also handles the fiddly ones — trebles maths, lucky 15s, yankees, and that’s where most people I know got it wrong. The thing that actually shifted things for me was the nerdier extras. There’s an odds-to-probability converter and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly tool — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutching one gets used a fair bit when I’m covering two or three runners.
Not all sunshine though. Its design is pretty plain — zero flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it’s fine though the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. There’s nothing on the app store, it’s browser only — slight shame but worth saying.
Anyway. Free, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. If you still works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — saved me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
