So — have been messing about with this thing for about six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d say something since someone asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, mostly do football and horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.

How I found it was actually embarrassing — I couldn’t ever work out what an ew return would be when the place terms changed. Basically I’d guess and then be surprised. Now stick my stake in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator tool is the part I open most — you drop in stake and odds and it shows the return straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the bigger stuff — acca and treble returns, lucky 15s, yankees, which is where most people I know mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at odds calculator matched betting — free, no signup.

What actually changed how I bet was the more serious tools. They’ve got an odds-to-probability converter that shows the overround, plus a kelly criterion calculator — I run quarter kelly because full kelly is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one is decent if I’m covering two or three runners.

Not all sunshine though. Its design is pretty plain — no flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it works although the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Free, no ads shoved in your face, works. If you still does the maths on paper, try it — saves me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
